Client Project Data
When BeeWeb delivers software development services, clients provide us with materials including source code, system credentials, API keys, and project documentation (“Client Project Data”). This data is handled under stricter controls than general website data:
- Client Project Data is accessible only to engineers assigned to that specific engagement.
- It is never shared with third parties without explicit written authorisation from the client.
- It is never used to train AI models or for any purpose outside the agreed engagement.
- It is returned to the client or permanently deleted within 30 days of project completion, with written confirmation.
- Any suspected unauthorised access to Client Project Data is reported to the affected client within 72 hours of discovery.
Every person who handles client project data has signed a Non-Disclosure Agreement before receiving any access.
For questions about how your project data is handled, contact: security@beewebsystems.com
Use of AI Coding Tools
BeeWeb engineers use AI coding assistants — including Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, and Cursor — as part of the software development process. All AI tool usage is governed by our AI Tools Usage Policy (ISP-008, effective April 2026).
Key rules under ISP-008
- Only enterprise or team tiers of approved AI tools are used — never free consumer accounts.
- Client source code, credentials, API keys, and personal or health data are never submitted to any public AI interface.
- All AI-generated code goes through the same mandatory peer review process as human-written code.
- Written client authorisation is obtained before AI tools are used on regulated codebases (fintech, healthtech).
- Engineers sign in to AI tools with BeeWeb company accounts — personal accounts are prohibited for client work.
Enterprise tiers of our approved AI tools contractually prohibit the use of submitted content for model training.
Data Security
BeeWeb maintains a formal security program documented in our Information Security Policy (ISP-001), effective April 2026. This policy is mandatory for all employees and contractors and is reviewed annually.
Security measures currently in place include
- A mandatory peer code review process: no code reaches a client's production environment without approval from a second engineer via pull request, enforced by GitHub branch protection.
- Non-Disclosure Agreements signed by all personnel before access to any client system or project material is granted.
- Formal written policies governing the use of AI coding tools, including strict rules against submitting client code, credentials, or personal data to public or free-tier AI interfaces (ISP-008, effective April 2026).
- A named Compliance Lead (Karen Hovhannisyan, Co-founder & CTO) with documented accountability for our security program.
- A dedicated security contact for client inquiries and documentation requests.
We are actively pursuing SOC 2 Type 1 certification, which will provide independent third-party verification of our security controls.
